Johanhorak on "[Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Migrated domain to new subsite. Old site still shown after mapping of domain"

1) I changed the domain http://capeholidays.info from being mapped over the old subsite http://capetownholidayaccommodation.ilocals.info/ to the new subsite (for now under maintenance until I can fix the issue discussed here) http://capetownholidayaccommodation2.ilocals.info/

2) I then removed my domain from being mapped on the old subsite (http://capetownholidayaccommodation.ilocals.info/ ) and placed underlying subsite (http://capetownholidayaccommodation.ilocals.info/ ) under maintenance using a plugin.

BTW: I have not changed anything .htaccess rules.

When I viewed http://capeholidays.info, after the mapping, I saw the new site http://capetownholidayaccommodation2.ilocals.info/ from my computer as I expected.

But when others had a look at http://capeholidays.info they still saw the old subsite (http://capetownholidayaccommodation.ilocals.info/) as though it was still mapped on the old subsite and not under maintenance.

I then had a look at http://capeholidays.info using a proxy bypass https://www.filterbypass.me/ and then I also saw that the domain http://capeholidays.info is still showing old subsite. Very odd.

Currently I have http://capeholidays.info again mapped over the old subsite.

I have no clue ;-(

I hope you can assist.

Regards

Johan
