I have used this plugin in our Multi-site for 3 years and it has served us well. Simple and essential in our WP Multisite. However when I updated The Events Calendar plugin earlier this summer, it began having some javascript errors that prevent proper functioning in the admin interface.
Through a process of elimination I have discovered that if MU Domain Map and The Events Calendar are both activated, then The Events Calendar does not fully function in its admin interface. It shows errors in the browsers javascript console. I do not know which plugin is in error, but they are both valuable to my site and I have created support requests with both support sites in hopes of finding an answer. In the meantime I have reverted to The Events Calendar v. 4.5.6 which is compatible with MU Domain Mapping.
It appears that the MU Domain Mapping plugin has not been updated since the update to 0.5.5.1 in early 2015. Perhaps there have been changes / deprecations in core WP which have lead to this conflict and which an update to this plugin would resolve?
