2Ninjas on "[Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Primary domain wildcard SSL, mapped domains try to add https and don't load"

Firs toff, THANK YOU for this plugin! This one thing is driving me slightly insane though and i would LOVE To donate some $$$$ to get it working!

Our primary domain is secure, wild carded.

so https://domain.com and all the sub domains load fine at https://site1.domain.com etc.

Now I go and map a domain and from the admin it try to add https to the mapped domain, and the network upgrade fails too when that time comes (every month or so it seems as its trying to find https://mappeddomain.com which doesn't exist :(

Any help would be soon greatly appreciated!
